JAPAN HERMITAGE®

The brainiacs at Japan’s MEXT, aka Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, have released their new advertising campaign for visitors.

For readability I resized the logo and found MEXT’s dedication to truth-in-advertising: “JAPAN HERMITAGE®”

  1. More like a gratuitously and wildly excessively stretched version of:

    JAPAn HerITAGe

    WHich iS nOt A loT BEtteR

    But I suppose good graphic design is in the eye of the beholder – Maybe people will take it on board. I think it’s banal and horribly confusing. Shame really when you consider the wealth it is supposed to be promoting.
